Help Keep track on your pattern:-
To help yourself know where you are in your pattern use two rulers or sticky notes or pieces of paper and keep the lines you are doing in between them.
How to do the pattern:-
Start with about 45 to 50 inches of wildfire or fireline.
To start with you always do the widest part of the earrings so that is where to start. To start by leaving a 10 inch tail for weaving in. You are going to do the first row in ladder stitch. Add on four blue beads to your thread and bring them down to 10 inches away from the end of your thread and up from your tail thread and go back down through the other two of the beads. Then add on two pink beads and go down the two beads in a circle then back up the beads and repeat. Do this the full length of the row which is 11 double stacks wide, when that is done time to move on to the brick stitch. Time to work up the pattern, as you work up the pattern each row is going to get shorter. As you do the pattern each row now you will be doing brick stitch which will involve adding on the beads going under what is called a thread bridge then going up through the two beads you have just added.

Two Beads start:-

Single Bead Start:-
In the case of this pattern you will be starting with four blue beads on every row and going under the second thread bridge and going back up the second set of beads. Then coming back down the first set of beads catching the second thread bridge under the beads and back up the second set of beads to stabilise all four beads. Then form there for the rest of the row you will be adding just two bead in the colour you need going under the each subsequent thread bridge and back up the beads till the end of the row and repeat this till you complete the rows.
To Put the loop on for the ear wire:-
For the loop for the ear wire you can either attach a wire guardian or make a loop using 6 beads in blue. To attach either one of these choices go from one bead at the top through either six blue beads or the wire guardian and back down the blue bead on the other side back into the work and reinforce your choice three times then weave the tail back into the wok while staying away from the ladder portion of the work.
Also weave in your starting tail trying to stay away from the ladder portion of your work.
Making the Fringe:-
Cut about 80 inches of Miyuki beading thread or One G thread and stranding from the third bead in on the ladder row leave a small tail and weave in till the tail does not move when you pull the thread. Then weave to the very first bead in the ladder stack head down out of the work.
The pattern does not show the 4mm fire polish for the ends of the fringe or the turning beads.
Starting from the outside bead string on 28 beads in the pattern on the chart with a 4mm transparent faceted green fire polish bead and a green 15/0 as a turning bead, then miss the 15/0 and go back up all the beads and back through the bead you are coming out of and back down the bead next to it., do this following the chart all the way across adding a 4mm transparent faceted green fire polish bead and a green 15/0 as a turning bead at the bottom of every fringe strand m, making sure you keep each of your pieces of fringe nice and flowy. Once you have done your fringe weave the last of the strand in.
Add ear wires to the top of your pieces and you have a beautiful pair of brick stitch earrings.
